Hey, glad you came, i've been waiting for you

This is Ken's house. I'm 20, i love art & music, dreaming, thinking about life, death, and everything in between. I believe that all my hopes and dreams lead to a place somewhere, and I'll be there one of these days. So, in the meantime, I want to reach out past arms length, to give people hope to live, to share my dreams, to see hurting people learn to laugh again :) Yes, i'm kind of weird, a bit of a sentimental fool. But hey, what certainty is there in life besides love? What else can give so much freedom? What can save us from despair and hopelessness like it? Love brings refreshing to our souls. Look at this picture of the river. See those rocks? Ages ago, those rocks were hard, jagged, dry, ready to cut anything that dared touch it. But the water came, swept by in an endless stream, still flowing. Those once jagged rocks are now smooth, they don't hurt anymore, they can be touched without pain, they are slowly worn down until all that remains is what was hidden within, the heart of the stone. In the same way, love is like a river and we are like the stones. We are roughened by the trials of life, from the pain we face, from the times we've been hurt. And our hearts become so rough, we hurt those who dare to touch us. But when we sit in the path of the river, when we rest in love's endless stream, our hearts are softened, we're worn down until all that remains, all that shows is what was hidden inside. That's when we'll know who we really are. I'm trying to find myself, will you join me on this journey? Then find me in the river :)

Holding a newborn baby, smelling the fragrance of a rose in bloom, hearing a child laugh, seeing the joy of a dancer, holding a person who trusts you with their tears, these are reminders of the wonders of love. Am i alone in this? Do you feel this way? I'm interested. Chances are that you're only here because i've asked you to check out my site, so we must know each other already. Well, this is my heart, i want to find true love, I want to know who I am and who God is. Is He out there? Is He within us? Why do things sometimes seem so cold and random? Yet other times I know with all my heart that there must be someone who created all of life. Look at the stars in the sky, the stars in our eyes!! Life couldn't have been a mistake, look at how beautiful you are :). No, you must have been made with a loving hand by a personal creator. You must have been crafted with care, every intricate detail spoken into being with loving words. Think about it, there's no one else in the world that is exactly like you, How awesome is that?? The things about you that are so different are your gifts, your special things that define you, and i love that! I want to climb to the top of that mountain, shout out how wonderful you are!

Well, now you know a good deal about me. Yes, this is my passion in life. I'm pretty solemn in my quiet times, but i'm a clown when i'm with people i care about. I love to see you smile :). And I do feel like a wanderer. See the picture? i'm looking for my streams in the desert. I don't want to let life pass by without ever obtaining the promise. I want to find the truth, to find love, to find hope. but the path seems so hard to walk, it's so hot and dry, my feet hurt. Will you be there to walk with me? Can we hold each other up?
